Dutch International Management University for international hospitality and business management studies (DIMU) is one of the oldest and most reputable institutes in the Netherlands. DIMU is an independent university that focuses on 'learning by doing'. Our approach is based on practical studies. Imagine. How does a singer learn to sing? Or a pilot learns to fly? The answer to these questions is simple: by learning and practice. Professional education without practical training is like learning to drive a car from a manual.
Our training places equal importance on theory and practice
Our training places equal importance on theory and practice. Practical experience gained during Business Experience Periods is reinforced with one or more business projects. Our staff assigns you to projects based on your foundation year achievements. Whether you have to organise an event or set up a business plan for a hotel or organise an exhibition or trade fair, you and your team are responsible for budget, public relations, organisation and execution. You work as a team, manage conflict, set your own targets and are responsible for solving a thousand and one problems.

At Dutch International Management University you can choose from three accelerated Bachelor programs:

Pre-Bachelor Programme
To qualify for admission to our Bachelor programme, Dutch law requires students have a minimum IELTS score of 6.0.

DIMU also offers a Pre-bachelor English language course which is appropriate for students whose command of English is not sufficient to participate in our Bachelor programme. Students will be expected to take an intensive ESL course, which will prepare them for entrance to the three year bachelor programme.
